Positive and negative
Surrounds us loyally
Given many labels
We take too literally
Yin and Yang we all have heard
Is balanced in opposition
The Tao explains all so well
An old precise rendition
Complimentary opposites
Within a greater whole
Each having the same aspects
Neither in control
Natural dualities
There’s hot and there is cold
Darkness and the morning light
There’s young and there is old
Sometimes one is stronger
At a certain time
With constant interaction
Never without chime
We have a mis-perception
Especially in the West
That positive and negative
Are separate in their quest
Positive is craved for
And negative left behind
But one shows us the other
And are clearly intertwined ♥
