We all have had our moments
Of feelings from inside
That felt a little foolish
And made us want to hide
An act we did or something we said
Humiliation in tow
Thoughts that we have given ourself
That made us feel so low
Abashed by the person we see
Looking in the mirror
Vulnerable and feeling shame
Let’s make this thinking clearer
The you of you is full of truth
Relax with relief filled sighs
Embarassment is just seeing yourself
Through someone else’s eyes
Disparagement can now disappear
Go back to who you are
And let the glow of blushes shoot
To your vibrant inner star
