True friends are always in our heart
No matter what the making
With busy-ness or stress in life
There’s no such thing as breaking
The friendship code we feel inside
It’s not the physical contact
By phone, or text or old snail mail
True friendship is more compact
The line of thought is our connection
It’s our unwritten rule
Those times when we laughed and cried
Our love forever fueled
The bond we made so long ago
Or even just last week
Those special people in our life
Exceptional and unique
