I’ve spent some days

Not knowing how

To be in charge of things

To keep myself in happy mode

To hear how life can sing

I’ve spent somedays with past regret

And things that make me mad

Instead of putting my energy on

All the things I’ve had

It’s easy to just turn around

With my remaining days

And spend that time thinking about

My desires in a maze

All there for me to ponder

In appreciation toward

The days that are coming…..
