It’s not your job to make me smile
So I can see my soul’s delight
It’s not your job to ease the way
So I can vivify my life
It’s not your job to be for me
The things that are not you
It’s not your job to change your ways
Or make yourself askew
It’s not your job to set the stage
To make my life devine
It’s not your job to make me happy
That job is only mine
